Linda’s Background

A little more about Linda

Linda Hogan is grateful for her life exactly as it is right now. Linda led training at Fortune 100 companies in the US and Europe and has coached individuals to create and implement a compelling vision for success. She enjoys travelling in search of scenic beauty, laughing with her daughters, Sarah and Anna, and seeing Emmylou Harris in concert every chance she gets. Linda runs with her dog Kimo, drinks fabulously strong coffee and enjoys fine dining at home in Virginia with her chef/ husband Bill.

Educational Background

Linda has a bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare (BSW) from the State University of New York at Albany and a Master of Science in Management with a focus on Organization Development from Antioch University New England Graduate School. She is a Certified Performance Technologist through the International Society for Performance Improvement. She takes a systematic and systems approach to improving individual and organizational performance.

Business Experience

After working in the nonprofit sector, Linda formed a consulting company to help individuals and organizations set goals and achieve results. This focus on results led to a job offer at a Fortune 100 company, Johnson Controls to lead learning at its headquarters in Michigan. With a small team of three people, they created a vision for a robust global learning program that engaged employees, increased competence, improved careers, and reduced costs for the company. The vision became reality when the team developed a leadership, engineering, team, and lean manufacturing curriculum that was spread globally and saved millions of dollars annually. Linda was subsequently accepted a position to lead learning for the eighty European sites. She and her family moved to Duesseldorf, Germany for almost four years. They took full advantage of this opportunity and explored diverse cultures and cities throughout Europe.

Since 2011, Linda has consulted full-time to Rolls-Royce and led technical training. In her role as grants manager, she obtained more than four million dollars in workforce development grants for Rolls-Royce businesses across the United States. One of the most rewarding aspects of Linda’s work at Rolls-Royce is developing registered apprentice programs. This has developed a pipeline of skilled employees for Rolls-Royce and enabled young people starting in their senior year of high school to attend college and enjoy good -paying careers.

Experience in Visionary Planning

Linda has led individuals and organizations through a visionary planning process for over 30 years. Her work incorporates strategic planning and guided imagery. This is a systematic and spiritual process that builds on best practices and is grounded in research.
