About this Book

 The purpose of this book is to take you on a journey to create an extraordinary life worth living. My firm conviction is that we all have the power to create an amazing life. Whatever your age or stage of life, my hope is that you will envision, realize, and enjoy a life that is beyond your wildest expectations; a vision that will move you on your life path to be happy, joyous, and free. You deserve it! My book will guide you step by step with tools, guided imageries, inspiring stories, and action steps to help you create your unique and extraordinary life.

Introduction to Book

I am grateful to the women who gathered in my living room over thirty years ago. We met monthly envisioned our future, set goals, listened too our hearts and to our intuition. We held each other accountable. Our dreams took flight and became our reality. I had to write this stuff down.  (I interviewed leaders in different fields to see whether they had ever created and realized a vision.) I became curious- what does the research say about the power of visualization? What does the research say about goal setting and how can be use it to increase productivity?  I continued to lead workshops to enable organizations and individuals to create and implement a compelling vision for the future. I learned what works! I had an incessant urge to write a book. My book sprung to life.

Why I Wrote a Book

My journey began as a social worker and corporate learning leader where I developed a systematic approach to improving learning and performance. Over thirty years ago, I began leading monthly workshops for women using guided imagery and goal setting. Our hearts opened, we discovered dreams long buried, we set goals, we shared our feelings, and we held each other accountable. We were all amazed at the transformation in our lives; I had to write this stuff down! I researched goal-setting and guided imagery and designed a spiritual and systematic process built on research. I drew from my experience leading learning in Fortune 100 companies, where I improved the performance of individuals, teams, and companies, helping employees find meaning in soul-satisfying work and helping companies save millions of dollars. The process works!

 My firm conviction is that we all have the power to create an amazing life. I wrote this book for anyone who dreams of something better and wants a path to move to the next stage in life. My book guides you step by step with a process, tools, and action plans to create your unique extraordinary life; it inspires you with stories of those who have succeeded and enables you to tap into the wisdom and creativity of your subconscious.
